Today is the International “Work from Home” day!

On this occasion, many big tech companies across the world have announced that they are moving towards the remote working concept for good. Many reports mentioned that the tech companies are sitting on record amounts of empty office space and are offering perks to lure tenants.

“Beautiful, perk-filled, and mostly empty”. That’s how the Washington Post predicted the future of the tech’s billion-dollar headquarters and offices.

Therefore, I wanted to share with all of you some simple tips that I learned from my experience and can help you stay productive while working remotely…

1. Create your own workspace, away from the noise of TV, social media, and the refrigerator.

2. Don’t work in your pajamas! Change your outfit and wear what you would wear for a typical working day. Studies showed that this has a strong psychological effect on your motivation.

3. Take regular breaks to avoid physical problems with your joints or muscles, boost your energy, and improve focus.

4. Reward yourself like hearing your favorite song after completing a project, watching a video, or having a cup of coffee.

Always keep in mind that working from home does not mean you lose the sense of professionalism, it means you have to create a warm work environment to become more productive.

Having said that, I’m pleased to share with you that starting from today, we have initiated a process of gradually moving the team to start working from their homes, as we believe this motivates and boosts their creativity.

So, let us be creative wherever we are ❤️
